ORDER

The above Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the second respondent to register the case on the petitioner's complaint dated 13.02.2019, investigate the same and file a final report within a stipulated period.

2. The status report has been filed by the second respondent. The Inspector of Police is present today. Heard the petitioner/ party-in-person also.

3. According to the prosecution, though the summons were sent to the petitioner to appear for enquiry on 26.12.2021 and 05.01.2022, the petitioner has not appeared but, whereas, according to the petitioner, she has not received any such summons and in pursuance of the direction of this Court, the petitioner has appeared before the respondent police on 11.12.2021 and the statement of the petitioner was recorded.

4. The second respondent is directed to file a final report within a period of two weeks before the concerned Court, after serving copy to the petitioner. The petitioner is at liberty to file a protest petition before the jurisdictional Court.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
