ORDER

This petition is filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents not to register or foist case against the petitioner's son, namely, Aakash, on the basis of the representation, dated 10.08.2021.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's son, who is aged about 19 years, has been arrested as accused in Crime No.137 of 2021 for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 506(2) and 302 of IPC on 04.05.2021. He further submitted that the future of the petitioner's son will be spoiled, if any detention order is imposed upon him.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that the detention order has already been passed on 08.08.2021 and the same has been served upon the son of the petitioner on 11.08.2021 itself. W.P.(MD) No.14496 of 2021 for further consideration or direction in this petition as the prayer sought for by the petitioner has now become infructuous. 4.Accordingly, this petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
