PRAYER :-For Bail in Crime No.178 of 2022 on the file of the Respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A1, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 09.06.2022 for the offences punishable under Section 379 IPC r/w Section 21 (4) of MMDR Act in Crime No.178 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.Perusal of records shows that the petitioner is having one previous case similar in nature. The sand involved in this matter is M-sand. Even though, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner purchased the aforesaid M-sand from the 2nd accused, it is a matter for investigation.

3.Considering the facts and circumstances of this case and considering the duration of custody, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner with certain conditions. 4.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail, on executing a https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.12034 of 2022 personal bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate Ambasamutharam, and on further condition that the petitioner shall report before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m. until further orders.
