The petitioner/defacto complainant in C.C.No.814 of 2023 which is pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Dindigul, has approached this Court seeking a direction to the trial Court to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the case was initially registered in the year 2015, the final report was also filed in the year 2016 and the same was taken on file in 2018 and transferred to the Land Grabbing Court and now transferred to the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Dindigul and the same is pending without any progress and without even issuing a summons.
3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) for the respondent police submits that the trial Court has issued summons to the accused and after the appearance of the accused only, they will progress with the case.

4.This Court considered the rival submissions made. 5.Since the case, which was registered in the year 2015, is pending without any progress, the trial Court is directed to give priority to the case and to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The respondent police is also directed to secure the accused, if the accused are evading the process of summons or evading the process of trial.
6.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above directions.
