O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the Respondents 1 to 3 to grant police protection to conduct the Kabaddi Tournament scheduled to be held on 22.05.2025 morning 06.00 a.m. to 25.05.2025 upto 12.00 pm at Neethi Nagar, Melur main road, Y.Othakkadai, Madurai District, in the light of the order passed in W.P.(MD) No. 7810 of 2024 dated 23.04.2024 and in considering the petitioner's representation dated 20.02.2025. 2.According to the petitioner, he sent the representation dated 20.02.2025, seeking police protection to conduct Kabaddi Tournament, which is scheduled to be held on 22.05.2025 at Neethi Nagar, Melur main road, Y.Othakkadai, Madurai District, but the same has not been considered. Hence this petition.

3.Mr.A.Thiruvadi Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that the petitioner's representation is under consideration and the same will be considered and disposed of within a period of one week, in accordance with law. 4.Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record. 5.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the petitioner's representation will be considered and disposed of within a period of one week, this Court directs the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 20.02.2025 and pass appropriate orders as per law, within a period of seven days from the date of this order.
