This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the second respondent police to expedite the investigation in Crime No.366 of 2020 on the file of the second respondent police and further direct the second respondent to file a final report within the time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents seeks two months time to complete the investigation and file a final report.

Recording the same, the Second respondent/ the Inspector of Police, Mayanur Police Station, Karur District, is hereby directed to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order before the jurisdictional Magistrate.
