O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to modify the condition from reporting before the Dindigul Town North Police Station as imposed in Crl.M.P.No.2062 of 2018, dated 02.11.2018, passed by the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Ramanathapuram.

2. I have heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. On perusal of record would show that the third parties have put up a small construction in the lands of the petitioner and due to which, there was a dispute between them. Pursuant to which, a case has been registered and the petitioner was arrested and granted bail on 02.11.2018, by the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Ramanathapuram. The one of the condition in the order dated 02.11.2018 is that, " the petitioner shall report before Dindigul Town North Police Station, daily at 10.00 a.m., until further orders, failing which, the order stands cancelled automatically". https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. According to the petitioner, since the petitioner is working as a Teacher in a Government School, Mimisal, Pudukkottai District, due to aforesaid condition, he is unable to attend the work and prays modification of the condition.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and taking note of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the aforesaid one of the condition is modified to the effect that "the petitioner shall report before the Inspector of Police, Thondi Police Station, daily at 8.00 pm., for a period of one week, and thereafter, as and when required, for interrogation."

6. Since the Modification petition is ordered today, the Petitioner is granted 15 days time to surrender and execute the sureties before the concerned court, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands allowed.
