This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents No. 1 to 3 to give adequate Police Protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and to fence the petitioner's land in S.No.93/4A to an extent of 0.5.75 Ares and in S.No.93/6B to an extent of 0.8.00 Ares in Kallankadu, Kuruvikarambai Village, Peravoorni Taluk, Pattukkottai, Thanjavur District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 05.02.2022.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the enquiry has been conducted and the same was closed 2/5
based on the statement given by the petitioner that they will approach the concerned Court.
3. I have considered the submissions.
4. A perusal of the records would reveal that the petitioner filed a suit in O.S.No.82 of 2020 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Pattukkottai against the private respondents and obtained an ex-parte decree. Since the private respondents are neighbouring land owners and they are giving trouble, suit for injunction has been filed and obtained an ex-parte decree. When the petitioner attempted to fence his land, the private respondents giving trouble, hence, he filed this petition seeks police protection.

In view of the above, if the petitioner is given fresh representation with regard to the fencing of land, the respondent police is hereby directed to consider the same and to take suitable action and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law and to provide police protection to safeguard his lands.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
