ORDER

The prayer in the writ petition is for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to call for the records of the 1st respondent in his proceedings in C.No.R2/150/2017 disqualification slip-Men(Re PMT) dated 24.08.2017-C(2) chest to quash the same as illegal, arbitrary, violation of principles of law and further direct the respondents to conduct a fresh measurement of chest to the petitioner within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2.The impugned order has been questioned on the ground that during physical efficiency test, the petitioner's chest had not been measured properly, therefore, the impugned order is liable to be set aside.

3.Considering the said submission, this Court directed the learned Special Government Pleader to produce the videographs taken during selection to the aforementioned posts. 4.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the videogrpahs in respect of chest measurement of the petitioner has been displayed before this Court in the presence of the counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader. The video clipping/recording shows that although the petitioner's chest was measured as 90.3 cms, the expanded chest of the petitioner was 94.3 cms. The minimum expansion of chest should be 5 cms from the normal chest measurement, hence, this Court is not inclined to entertain the prayer of the petitioner. Accordingly, this Writ Petition fails and the same is dismissed. No costs.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
