ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A2, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c)r/w.20(b)(ii)(B) , 29(1) of NDPS Act in Crime No. 63 of 2026 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused were found in illegal possession of 2kgs of ganja. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner along with other accused were found in illegal possession of 2kgs of ganja of ganja. Investigation is pending and 12 similar cases are pending against the petitioner out of which six cases are disposed of. Hence, he opposes to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 2/4

5. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the rival submissions on either side and the gravity of offence and also the fact that the petitioner is having some similar previous cases and the investigation is also pending, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner at this stage.

7. Hence the petition stands dismissed.
