The petitioner seeks issuance of writ of mandamus to register the sale deed submitted by the petitioner vide Temporary Application no. 1/4

TP8213728059/2025 dated 02.04.2025 by considering the representation sent by the petitioner dated 03.05.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that the respondent have not refused to register the document and if the petitioner pays requisite stamp duty and registration charges, the document would be registered.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioneris willing to pay the applicable stamp duty and registration charges.

5. Considering the submissions of learned counsel on either side, this Court directs the petitioner to present the document for registration along with the requisite stamp duty and registration charges. In the event of the Sub Registrar doubting the market value reflected in the same document, it shall be open to the registering authority to invoke Section 47A. However, the Sub Registrar shall not refuse registration of the document. 2/4
