PRAYER: Petition filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the first respondent to direct the third respondent herein not to harass the petitioners and their family members.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the first respondent to direct the third respondent not to harass the petitioners and their family members.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that a case has been registered against these petitioners in Crime No.25 of 2021 and final report was also filed before the Mahila Court, Theni, for the offences punishable under Sections 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961, 109, 34, 406,494 and 498A IPC and the next date of hearing is 01.11.2021 for appearance of the accused persons. Crl.O.P(MD)No.11452 of 2021 3.Since case has been registered against these petitioners and trial also commenced, they have to face the trial proceedings. Question of harassment may not arise at this stage. 4.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of as infructuous.
