ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to provide adequate police protection to fence the property in Survey No. 81/6, bearing Patta No. 816 with an extent of 3 acre and 42 cents in light of the decree passed by Hon'ble District Munsif, Ramanathapuram in O.S.No. 169 of 2024, dated 31.01.2025, thereby consider the petitioner representation to respondents dated 23.04.2025, within the stipulated time frame fixed by this Hon'ble Court.
2. The petitioner's mother had filed a suit in O.S.No.162 of 2024 on the file of the learned District Munsif, Ramanathapuram. Even though the relief of declaration of title was declined, a decree for permanent injunction was granted in respect of the disputed property. The decree further restrains the defendant from removing the Karuvelam trees in the disputed property.
3. In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to provide police protection in accordance with the decree. The petitioner is directed to approach 2/4
the second respondent, fix a suitable time, and pay the requisite fees. On receipt of such fees, police protection shall be provided.
4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
