ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, seeking for a direction to the second respondent to regularize the service of the petitioner in the post of the Village Librarian, by considering the representation dated 21.02.2022.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is working as Village Librarian for more than ten years and his service is yet to be regularized. He further submitted that some persons, who were similarly placed as that of the petitioner, have been regularized through G.O.Ms.No.164, School Education Department, dated 27.05.2015. Therefore, this petition.

3.Heard Mr.T.Aswin Rajasimman, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Kannan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

4.Considering the limited scope of this petition and prayer and that the petitioner wants only his representation dated 21.02.2022 for regularization of his services to be considered in a time bound manner, this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.02.2022 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
