This Writ Petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to remove the petitioner's name from the History Sheet in History Sheet No.13 of 2008, on the file of the respondents.

2.Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. Though the petition is filed for issuance of positive direction to the respondents, the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner now states that the petitioner will be satisfied, if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 26.07.2017 and 24.08.2017.

4. Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer, that is now sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's case, this Court is inclined to pass the following direction: "The second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 24.08.2017 and dispose of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
