Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records pertaining to the tender notice issued by the second respondent in 7/F Tender Notice/JDO/2017/dated 24.07.2017 and quash the same and direct the respondents to conduct fresh tender process by strictly following the Tamil Nadu Transparency of Tender Act.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to quash the tender notice issued by the second respondent in 7/F Tender Notice/JDO/2017/dated 24.07.2017, which was not published in the web-site as well as two Tamil dailies and direct the respondents to conduct fresh tender process by strictly following the Tamil Nadu Transparency of Tender Act. 2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing appearing for the respondents submitted that the tender process had been completed and 90% of the work had also been completed and therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this matter.

3.Recording the same, this writ petition is closed. However, it is made clear that it is the bounden duty of the respondents to publish the tender notification in two of leading Tamil dailies, in future. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
