ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed to quash the F.I.R in Crime No.43 of 2022 dated 24.01.2022 on the file of the Inspector of Police, E-3 Anna Nagar (L&O) Police Station, Madurai City. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that a case has been registered by the second respondent against the petitioner in respect of borrowing of loan amount with interest in Crime No.43 of 2022 for offences under Sections 3 and 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Charging Exorbitant Interest Act, 2003.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent Police submitted that the case has been registered in Crime No.43 of 2022 on 24.01.2022 for offences under Sections Sections 3 and 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Charging Exorbitant Interest Act, 2003 and it has been closed as mistake of fact and the closure report also sent to the concerned Judicial Magistrate and also to the defacto complainant and R.C.45 of 2022 was also issued to the complainant and the report was also sent to the concerned Judicial Magistrate on 09.07.2022.
