RESPONDENT/ COMPLAINANT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to permit to amend the altered petitioner's name, Respondent police station and Bail to satisfaction court name in Crl.O.P.No.10035 of 2021 by an order dated 04.08.2021 as along with the petitioner name as Sivanrasu instead of Sivarasu, the Respondent police station name as Kumbakonam All Women Police Station instead of All Women Police Station and bail to the satisfaction of the Learned Special District Judge for POCSO Cases, Thanjavur instead of Judicial Magistrate, Kumbakonam, on the file of this Hon'ble Court. Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.M.

KARUNANITHI, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.P.KOTTAI CHAMY, Government Advocate(Criminal Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to amend the name of the petitioner as Sivanrasu; instead of Sivarasu, respondent police station as Kumbakonam All Women Police Station instead of All Women Police Station; and the jurisdictional Court as learned Special District Judge for POCSO Cases, Thanjavur instead of Judicial Magistrate, Kumbakonam, in the petition as well as in the order dated 04.08.2021.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that due to the typographical error, the name of the petitioner, respondent Police Station and the Jurisdictional Court have wrongly been https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL MP(MD) No.5888 of 2021 mentioned in the petition. Hence, he prayed for necessary amendment in the petition as well as in the order dated 04.08.2021.

3. The petitions seeking bail or anticipatory bail have to be filed before this Court with correct details, particularly, the name of the petitioner, respondent Police Station, Jurisdictional Court, which are very important while dealing with the above petitions. But, in this case, the name of the petitioner, respondent Police Station and Jurisdictional Court have been wrongly mentioned in the bail petition itself. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition.

4. Accordingly, the Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed.
