ORDER

The petitioner/A1 has filed this petition to quash the FIR in Crime No.296 of 2021 on the file of the first respondent, wherein he is said to have committed the offence under Sections 147, 294(b), 323 and 506(2) of IPC.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 10.07.2021, when the defacto complainant was returning to home in his TVS Appachi Bike, the petitioner along with other accused in a drunken mode blocked him in the road. The second respondent asked the petitioner and others to leave the way, at that time, they scolded the defacto complainant with filthy language and also attacked him. Hence, the complaint. Page No.2 of 4

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the first respondent submitted that after completion of investigation, final report has been filed and the same was taken on file as C.C.No.405 of 2023 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Cheranmadevi.

4. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
