Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation of the Petitioner dated 22.08.2017 and pass appropriate orders regarding sub-division of the Natham property measuring an extent of 1 acre and 53 cents out of the total extent of 21 acres and 49 cents in S.F.No.663 at Pothuravuthanpatti Village, Krishnarayapuram Taluk, Karur District.

ORDER
The prayer in the Writ Petition is for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the the respondents to consider the representation of the Petitioner dated 22.08.2017 and pass appropriate orders regarding sub-division of the Natham property measuring an extent of 1 acre and 53 cents out of the total extent of 21 acres and 49 cents in S.F.No.663 at Pothuravuthanpatti Village, Krishnarayapuram Taluk, Karur District. 2.Mr.A.Muthukaruppan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.

3.By consent of both parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for disposal, at the admission stage itself. 4.According to the Petitioner, he is the absolute owner of the property measuring an extent of 1 acre and 53 cents in S.F.No.663 of Pothuravuthanpatti Village, Krishnarayapuram Taluk, Karur District out of the total extent of 21 acres and 49 cents. His right has been confirmed by the District Munsif Court, Kulithalai in O.S.No.143 of 2014.Thereafter, the Petitioner made representation seeking issuance of patta on 22.08.2017. Since no action has been taken, the present Writ Petition is filed. 5.Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the Petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the third respondent to consider the representation of the Petitioner, dated 22.08.
2017 on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders on the same, after giving notice to the Petitioner and other interested parties, if any, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order 6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
