Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to take necessary action on the basis of the Petitioner's representation dated 12.08.2017 within the time stipulated by this court.

ORDER

The Petitioner seeks for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to take necessary action on the basis of the Petitioner's representation, dated 12.08.2017. 2.Mr.A.Muthukaruppan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3.

3.By consent of both parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for disposal, at the admission stage itself. 4.The Petitioner would state that he is the absolute owner of the property measuring an extent of 0.18 Ares in S.No.326/3B1 in Patta No.1695 of V.S.Nagaram, Mela Valavu, Melur Taluk, Madurai District.

https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 5.The Petitioner would further state that in the year 1979, when sub-divisions were effected, the name of the fourth

respondent was wrongly included in the patta. So the Petitioner made representation to the third respondent to correct the UDR patta. Since no action was taken, he sent representations dated 17.7.2017 and 20.7.2017 along with relevant documents. Since no favourable order was passed, the present Writ Petition is filed. 6.The learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that there is no proof for submitting the representations. If a fresh representation is given by the Petitioner, the second respondent is ready to consider the same, as per law.

7.In the light of the above fact and the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, the Petitioner is directed to give a fresh representation to the second respondent by enclosing a copy of this order within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such compliance, the second respondent is directed to consider the same on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders on the same, after giving notice to the Petitioner and other interested parties, if any, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of twelve weeks therefrom. 8.With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
