O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by S.VAIDYANATHAN, J.] Alleging non compliance of the order passed by this Court in WP(MD)No.633 of 2021 dated 05-07-2021, this contempt petition is filed.

The direction issued by this Court in the aforesaid writ petition reads as follows:- ''2. Since the representation dated 16.06.2020 is pending before the Authorities, we direct the 5th respondent Block Development Officer, Ponnamaravathi, Pudukottai District, to conduct an enquiry into the matter. The 5th respondent shall issue notice to the petitioner and the 4th respondent, after affording full and effective opportunity of personal hearing either to themselves or their authorised representatives receive all the documents, pass a reasoned order on merits and in accordance with law. This direction to be complied within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.'' 3.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent produced a

notice issued by the respondent in Na.Ka.Thi3/1436/2021, dated 30.06.2023 and submitted that in order to comply with the order of this Court, the respondent has issued the aforesaid notice to the 4th respondent in the writ petition, fixing the enquiry on 04.07.2023. 4.

Since the enquiry has been scheduled tomorrow (04.07.2023), we expect that the respondent will comply with the orders of this Court mentioned supra. Hence, we close this Contempt Petition for the present. In case, the order of this Court is not complied with, it is open to the petitioner to revive this contempt petition or file a fresh contempt petition.
