O R D E R
(Order of the Court was made by V. BHARATHIDASAN, J.) This petition has been filed by the wife of the detenu viz., Ukkarapandian, aged about 63 years, alleging that the petitioner's husband has been taken by the 2nd respondent Police on 11.08.2021 and thereafter, his whereabouts is not known and he has been kept under illegal custody by the 2nd respondent Police and set him at liberty.
2. Earlier, when the matter was taken up for hearing on 13.08.2021, this Court, while issuing notice, directed the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents, to get instruction. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.Ravi, the learned Standing Counsel, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner's husband has been arrested and remanded to judicial custody in connection with a case registered in Crime No.18 of 2021, for the offence under Sections 834, 420, 409 and 506(i) of IPC., on 13.08.2021.
4. Recording the above submissions, that the missing person already arrested and remanded to judicial custody, no further adjudication is required in this petition. Hence, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed.
