Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner wants his name to be deleted from the rowdy list maintained by the third respondent. It appears that the petitioner was having some cases registered against him in the past. But then the name of the petitioner cannot be put in the rowdy list in perpetuity. There has to be a periodical review. In this case, such a periodical review does not appear to have been conducted. The petitioner has given a representation in this regard. 3.The second respondent is directed to review the case of the petitioner in the light of the Police Standing Order Nos.746 to 748 and take action within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
