For Petitioner : Mr.T.Lajapathi Roy For Respondents : Mrs.J.Padmavathy Devi, Special Government Pleader (in both WPs) COMMON ORDER The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that subsequent to the filing of these writ petitions, the policy decision of the Government has been changed and hence, nothing survives for adjudication herein.

2.However, in view of the subsequent events took place, the learned Counsel for the petitioners sought liberty to the petitioner to approach the Government afresh for appropriate relief. 3.In view of the above submissions, these writ petitions stand closed, leaving it open to the petitioners, to approach the Government with a fresh representation for appropriate relief, within a period of two weeks from the date of reciept of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
