The petitioner has complained of quarrying activities by the sixth respondent in the petitioner's patta land in S.Nos.670 and 648, Ethirkottai Village, Vembakottai Taluk. The petitioner has already given a representation on 30.04.2025 in this regard.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the authorities would take expeditious steps to dispose of the petitioner's representation.

In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 30.04.2025 and pass final orders, after giving a fair opportunity to the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that if any illegal quarrying activities and also whether the sixth respondent has destroyed the car truck available in the subject lands, are found, suitable action shall be taken thereof by the respondents. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
