ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 296(B), 115(2), 75, 351

(2) of BNS, 2023 and Section 4 of TNPWH Act, in Cr.No.57 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that The petitioner and the defacto complainant became friends by chatting through instagram and the petitioner forced the defacto complainant to consume alchohol and also to have sexual relationship with three others. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner did not involve in any of the offences as alleged by the prosecution. The petitioner is an innocent and he is falsely implicated in this case. The petitioner is ready to abide by any conditions to be imposed by this Court. He therefore prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police on instructions, would submit that the allegations are levelled against the petitioner as serious in nature and still the victim is in hospital as inpatient. Therefore, he prays to dismiss this Criminal Original Petition.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of this case and also the nature of 2/3

the allegations levelled against the petitioner which are serious in nature and the fact that the victim is still in hospital, this court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner and accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
