For Petitioner : Mr.D.Malaichamy For Respondents : Mr.B.Nambiselvan for R1 Additional Public Prosecutor Mr.P.Ganapathi Subramanian for R2 O RDER This petition has been filed seeking to quash the impugned FIR in Crime No. 7 of 2022 on the file of the 1st respondent police. 2.The contention of the petitioners is that based on the complaint lodged by the 2nd respondent, the 1st respondent registered the First Information Report in Crime No.7 of 2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 494, 294 (b) and 506 (I) IPC, against the petitioners. Seeking quashment of the same on various grounds this petition has been filed.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that after completing the investigation, final report was presented through e-filing No.7001122/2023, before the concerned Court, but the same was not taken on file so far.

4.In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public 2/4

Prosecutor, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Uthamapalayam, to process the above said final report within the time stipulated as per Rules. The petitioner is at liberty to workout his remedy through appropriate proceedings, if aggrieved against the contents of the final report. The prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous.

5.Accordingly, this criminal original petition stands dismissed as infructuous with the above said directions. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
