PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.150/2024 on the file of the respondent police. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A1, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence under Sections 420, 294(b) and 506(2) IPC in Crime No.150 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused had purchased 150 sovereigns of gold jewels from the defacto complainant by paying two cheques and the said cheques were returned for insufficient funds. Thus, the petitioner had cheated the defacto comparison to the tune of Rs.53 lakhs. Hence, the complaint.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he prays for anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
4. The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the petitioner had cheated the defacto complainant to the tune of Rs.53 lakhs. Hence, he has strongly opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. The learned counsel for the intervenor has also strongly opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the gravity of the offence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
