O R D E R
This petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the 3rd respondent to grant necessary police protection to the petitioner.
2.It is the grievance of the petitioner that due to the dispute with regard to the worship of temple, the petitioner and his family members apprehends life threat from some persons and hence, he made a representation to the respondent on 04.03.2019 seeking police protection. Since, the same is pending before the 3rd respondent, he approached this Court for police protection.
3.Heard the learned Government Advocate (criminal side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.
4.The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) would submit that on the complaint lodged by the petitioner dated 04.03.2019, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
CRL.O.P (MD) No.11996 of 2019 they conducted enquiry on 19.05.2019 and both the parties agitating for their rights in the temple administration and its maintenance. In respect of the issues between them, the 3rd respondent conducted enquiry and concluded that since the issue is civil in nature, they are directed to approach the concerned civil Court for appropriate relief.
5.It is seen from the records that the respondent issued CSR No.2720 for the representation given by the petitioner, in which also, it reveal that they conducted enquiry and closed with an undertaken given by the parties that they would approach the concerned civil Court.
6.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this court is not inclined to give any direction regarding police protection. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
