O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA, J.] This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by the father of the detenu seeking to produce the alleged detenu namely K.A.Jayashree, D/o.J.T.Kannan, aged about 20 years before this Court and set her at liberty.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the alleged detenu is aged about 21 years and she was found missing from 18.04.2024. He lodged a complaint on 18.04.2024 to the second respondent. Based on the complaint given by him, a case in Cr.No.129 of 2024 has been registered as "Woman Missing". Since, whereabouts of his daughter is not known, he has filed the present habeas corpus petition.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 & 2, on instructions, would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Cr.No.129 of 2024 has been registered under "Woman Missing". The detenu has sent a letter to the second respondent stating that she got married one Ajaykumar and she is living with him. The said Ajaykumar has also sent a letter to the second respondent.

4. In view of the above, the detenu is not illegally detained by anyone. Accordingly, this habeas corpus petition is closed. [A.D.J.C., J.] [K.R.S., J.] NCC : Yes / No 25.06.2024 Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No am
