[Order of the Court was made by M.DURAISWAMY.,J.] When the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing today, Mr.B.Anandan, learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner submitted that the prayer sought for in the Writ Petition has become infructuous, for the reason that the super-structure in question has been demolished by the authorities at 12.30 p.m. today(ie.,on 13.08.2021).

2.In view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner, Mr.P.Thilak Kumar, learned Standing Counsel for the Government appearing for the respondent submitted that the respondent had removed all the encroachments in the water body including the property of the Petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

3.In view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing on either side, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed.
