Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission to conduct the "Cock Fight Traditional Game" scheduled on 04.03.2017 and 05.03.2017 at back side of the Vandayar Colony, Srinivasapuram, Thanjavur District, by considering the petitioner's written representation dated 27.01.2017 and 30.01.2017.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to give necessary permission for conducting cock fight in the place mentioned in the petition, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus. 2.Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents.

3.It is seen from the records that written representations have been given on 27.01.2017 and 30.01.2017 to the respondents, but the same have not been considered.

4.Considering the fact that the representations given by the petitioner have not been considered, this Court is inclined to pass the following order.

5.In fine, this writ petition is allowed in part without costs and the respondents are directed to look into the representations dated 27.01.2017 and 30.01.2017 alleged to have been given by the petitioner and proceed further in accordance with law.
