Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation, dated 05.07.2017 within a stipulated period as fixed by this Court.

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation, dated 05.07.2017

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that one Ganesan was working as Assistant Commissioner, Madurai City, Anti Land Grabbing Special Cell and his Assistant Vallavan, Head Constable, Anti Land Grabbing Special Cell demanded money from the petitioner to stop further action in a criminal case pending against the petitioner's son. Hence, he made a representation to the first respondent on 05.07.2017, to take action against the Assistant Commissioner Ganesan, Head Constable Vallavan, Sub Inspector Ganesan and Anandh. Since the representation of the petitioner has not been considered, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions would submit that already the petitioner's

representation has been forwarded to the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police to conduct enquiry and the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police has conducted the enquiry and closed the representation filed by the petitioner, on 12.09.2017.

4. Considering the fact that already the petitioner's representation has been enquired into and closed, no further order is required in this petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
