PRAYER : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of directing the respondents to survey petitioner land situated at Survey No.2/2C1 at Kattu Uraikulam, Manamadurai Taluk, Sivagangai District, in order to fix the boundaries by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 02.05.2023. O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction to the respondents to survey the lands of the petitioner at survey No.2/2C1, Kattu Uraikulam, Manamadurai Taluk, Sivagangai District. The petitioner had given a representation on 02.05.2023, but had also paid necessary charges on 17.04.2023.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the petitioner had purchased 25 cents of a larger area of land by a registered 2/5

document dated 06.04.2023. It had been stated that the sub-division of the land had not been made and to facilitate that particular process, he had sought for surveying of the lands.

3. A direction is given to the respondents 2 and 3 herein to act in accordance with the application given by the petitioner herein and complete the entire exercise of surveying the lands and fixing the boundaries within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
