O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondent police to conduct enquiry based on the petitioner's complaint dated 02.08.2017.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner's Car bearing Registration No.TN-22-CZ-3330 met with an accident, dashed by another car. Thereafter, the petitioner gave a complaint before the second respondent. Like that the driver of the another car, involved in the accident namely, Srinivasan also gave a complaint. But, the respondent police without registering the complaint given by the petitioner, has registered the complaint given by the said Srinivasan. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court with the present petition.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that based on the complaint given by the said Srinivasan, enquiry has been conducted and it was found that the said Srinivasan only negligently caused accident, and he was made as accused. He would further submit that the investigation on the complaint is completed and the respondent police will file a final report shortly.

4.Considering the above facts and circumstances, no further adjudication is required to be undertaken in this petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
