This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the the respondent to remove impound made in the petitioner's passport bearing No.P0127430 within a stipulated period that may be fixed by this Court.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondent.

3.Allegating certain irregularities committed in obtaining passport, the petitioner was served with notice, for which he has given reply dated 10.07.2017 and till date, the same was not considered by the respondent. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court by filing the present writ petition.

4.In view of the above, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the respondent to consider the reply sent by the petitioner dated 10.07.2017 and pass necessary orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.With the above direction, this petition is disposed of. No costs.
