The criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first and second respondents herein to provide necessary police protection to the petitioner's agriculture activities in the property. situated at Trichy District, Musiri Taluk, Valavanthan Village (West), Punjai, S.F. No.354/1B3C measuring to an extent of hector 0.61.0 acre, based on his representation dated 30.07.2021.

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.11549 of 2021 2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 stated that CSR was closed and a suit in O.S.No.37 of 2021 is pending before the Sub Court, Musiri. 3.Hence, police protection cannot be granted. The prayer sought for in this criminal original petition is devoid of merits and the same is dismissed.
