This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to withdraw the proceedings in STC No. 22 of 2023 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate Fast Track court, Thanjavur, and to transfer the same to other competent Judicial Magistrate Court in Salem.

2. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is having a life threat and he apprehends to appear before the learned Judicial Magistrate Fast Track court, Thanjavur.

3. In the event, if the petitioner is having any life threat from the defacto complainant, it is always open to the petitioner to lodge a separate complaint before the Police Station concerned. On the mere apprehension of the petitioner herein, this Court is not inclined to entertain this application to transfer the proceeding which is pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate Fast Track court, Thanjavur. 2/4
