Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to include the petitioner's name "O.Vijayalakshmi" in the Birth registration records in Registration No.21/1975 dated 13.06.1975 and issue a Birth Certificate with petitioner's name. The writ petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to include the petitioner's name "O.Vijayalakshmi" in the Birth registration records in Registration No.21/1975 dated 13.06.1975 and issue a Birth Certificate with petitioner's name.

2.Heard Mr.KA.Raamakrishnan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader, who took notice for the respondent. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice, if a direction is given to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.07.2017.

petitioner was received only on 02.07.2017 and it was considered in accordance with law.

5.In view of the above submission, this writ petition is disposed with a direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.07.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to all necessary parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
