ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 4(1)(a), 4(1)(i) and 4(1A) of TN Prohibition Act, in Crime No.96 of 2025, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and other accused tried to 1/3
transport the 6 curated liquor bottles (each 180ml) for the purpose of illegal sale. Hence, this complaint.
3.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that the petitioner is a habitual offender and already he involved in thirteen cases, which are Crime Nos. 187 of 2017, 251 of 2016, 142 of 2016, 516 of 2015, 442 of 2015, 96 of 2025, 225 of 2021, 224 of 2021, 77 of 2020, 38 of 2025, 314 of 2018, 478 of 2016, 1245 of 2015. Hence, he prayed to dismiss this petition. 4.Considering the antecedent of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
