ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of Mandamus, to direct the the respondent to survey and fix four boundaries of the petitioner's property bearing Patta No.567 for an extent of 0.0055.0 sq.mtr in Survey No.110/10 situated in Kavvoor Group, Thiruvadanai Taluk, Ramanathapuram District.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondent.

3. The petitioner's case is that she purchased the above said property in the year 2009. Thereafter, she executed inam settlement deed in favour of her husband vide Document No.191/2009. For changing the revenue records in the name of her husband, the petitioner's husband approached the respondent by giving a representation dated 20.05.2018. Subsequently, the petitioner has also paid necessary fee for conducting survey and requested the respondent for survey the said land and for fixing four boundaries. However, the same has not been considered so far and hence, the petitioner is before this Court with this writ petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Considering the limited scope of the writ petition, this Court is inclined to pass the following order: "The respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.05.2018 and pass appropriate orders for surveying the land and grant of patta in accordance with law. Such exercise shall be carried out by the respondent within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order." With the above direction, this petition is disposed of. No costs.
