Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to revise the pay of the petitioner with effect from 1.1.2016 notionally and to pay difference in salary with implement from 1.10.2017 and to pay the difference in gruatuity, difference in earned leave salary, difference in commutation and difference in pension with effect from the date of retirement of the petitioner together with interest at the rate of 18 percentage p.a in terms of 7th pay commission recommendations for revision of pay as per G.O.Ms.no.134, Transport(D) dept dt 9.4.2018, within the time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

Alleging disobedience of the order passed in W.P.(MD).No.575 of 2020, dated 10.01.2020, this Contempt Petition has been filed.

2. None appeared for the petitioner.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, Mr.P.Balasubramanian, learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that as per the order of this Court, dated 10.01.2020, the first respondent has disposed of the representation of the petitioner, dated 29.11.2019, on 07.03.2020 and subsequently, some of the retirement benefit also disbursed to the petitioner. In this regard, the learned Standing counsel has also sent a copy of the same to the Registry of this Court.

4. Recording the submissions made by the learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, the Contempt Petition is closed.
