Prayer: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to take necessary action as against the fourth respondent for their act of insisting a written undertaking from the petitioner compelling both his daughters, namely, Ayesha Shajeena (12th standard) and Anafa Irnaas (9th Standard) to attend the special classes from 07.45 A.M. to 07.00 P.M. without any quarterly or half yearly leave and to further direct the respondents 1 to 4 to ensure the uninterrupted education of both the above petitioner's daughters at the fourth respondent school for the academic year 2024-2025 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 11.06.2024.

ORDER

The writ petitioner's daughters are studying in the fourth respondent School. The petitioner alleges that the School management has taken the stand that unless the petitioner gives an undertaking that his children would attend special classes, they would not be allowed to pursue their studies in the School.

2.The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the School Management categorically states that special classes are held only for the benefit and welfare of the students and there is no compulsion to attend the same. If the petitioner's daughters are not willing to attend the special classes, there will not be any compulsion. They can confine their attendance to their regular School hours alone. 3.Recording the stand of the fourth respondent, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
