The writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to take action against the respondents 4 and 5 by considering the petitioner's complaints dated 13.05.2022 and 23.05.2022.
2.Mr.M.Sakthi Kumar, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that on 11.05.2022, the fourth respondent said to have tried to attack my wife with crowbar and abused her by using filthy language and on seeing the attack, the petitioner's wife felt down and sustained scratch injuries over her body. Thereafter, on 13.05.2022, the respondents 4 and 5 said to have threatened the petitioner and criminally intimidated him. Hence, he gave a complaint before the third respondent on 13.05.2022. Since no action has been taken, the present Writ Petition has been filed. 2/5
4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the complaint has been received on 13.05.2022 and the third respondent Police has issued C.S.R.No.19 of 2022 and the petitioner has not cooperated with the enquiry. Now the petition enquiry is pending before the third respondent Police. 5.Recording the same, the third respondent police is hereby directed to conduct enquiry in the matter and take suitable action on merits in accordance with law within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
