Officer in the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police to conduct the transfer investigation of the case in Crime No.22 of 2023 pending on the file of the 4th respondent to the 2nd respondent and to file a final report within the time stipulated by this Court. ORDER

This petition has been filed to withdraw the case in Crime No.22 of 2023 from the file of the 4th respondent to the file of the 2nd respondent and consequently, direct the 1st respondent to appoint a competent Police Officer in the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police to conduct the investigation and to file a final report within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that already investigation has been completed and final report was filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Lalgudi, as 'Further Action 2/5

Dropped', regarding which RCS notice was also served.

3. The only grievance of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that statement has not been recorded by the Investigating Officer. However, they completed the investigation and filed charge sheet before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Lalgudi.

4. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the appropriate forum if she is aggrieved over the closure of the complaint.

5. In view of the same, no further order is required to be passed in this case. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
