ORDER

This civil revision petition is filed seeking for a direction to direct the District Munsif Court, Lalgudi, to dispose the suit in O.S.No.5 of 2022 within the stipulated time fixed by this Court. 1/4

2.According to the revision petitioner/plaintiff, he filed a suit in O.S.No.5 of 2022 before the District Munsif, Lalgudi, for partition and for declaration against the respondents. In the above suit, the respondents/defendants filed their written statement on 21.12.2022. Thereafter, the trial Court is adjourning the case periodically for the reason of filing the written statement. Hence, the present civil revision petition is filed.

3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the suit was filed in the month of January, 2022 and the respondents/defendants filed their written statement on 21.12.2022 and after completion of 1 1⁄2 years, the suit was pending without any progress. Hence, he prays for speedy disposal.

5.Considering the aforesaid submission, this Court directs the District Munsif, Lalgudi, to dispose the suit in O.S.No.5 of 2022 on merits and in accordance with law, without any unnecessary adjournment, after affording sufficient opportunities to the parties concerned to put-forth their 2/4

contentions, as expeditiously as possible, within a period of eight months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above observation, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
