Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to permit the petitioner's organization to conduct peaceful demonstration before the Kamarajar Statue on 17.05.2025 from 5 PM to 7 PM to bring awareness and to spread news before the public by considering the representation given by the petitioner dated 03.05.2025.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for Mandamus directing the respondents to permit the petitioner's organization to conduct peaceful demonstration before the Kamarajar Statue on 17.05.2025 from 05.00 pm to 07.00 pm to bring awareness and to spread news before the public by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 03.05.2025.

2.Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has submitted a representation to the respondents on 03.05.2025 seeking permission to conduct the peaceful demonstration before the Kamarajar Statue on 17.05.2025 from 05.00pm to 07.00 pm to bring awareness and to spread news before the public. Since the said representation was not considered, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

4. Considering the limited scope of the prayer in the writ petition, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 03.05.2025 and pass orders on merits and 2/4
