ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for Mandamus, directing the respondents to give permission for conducting day night Kabadi Programme with mike from 23.05.2025 to 25.05.2025 and give adequate police protection at Kilikudu Village, Srirangam Taluk, Tiruchirappalli District. 2.Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has submitted a representation to the respondents on 06.05.2025 seeking permission to conduct Kabadi Programme from 23.05.2025 to 25.05.2025 at Kilikudu Village, Srirangam Taluk, Tiruchirappalli District. Since the said representation was not considered, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

4. Considering the limited scope of the prayer in the writ petition, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 06.05.2025 and pass orders on merits and 2/4
