PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 4th and 5th respondents to take appropriate action to open all the sluices including Alamadai of Neervilankulam Eri of Neervilankulam Village, Manamelkudi Taluk, Pudukkottai District, to the Ayacut lands of Neervilankulam Eri, immediately for the irrigation of agriculture activities with the help of the 3rd respondent by considering the petitioner's representation dated 11.05.2025 within a time stipulated by this Court. ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 4 and 5 to take appropriate action to open all the sluices including Alamadai of Neervilankulam Eri of Neervilankulam Village, Manamelkudi Taluk, Pudukkottai District, to the Ayacut lands of Neervilankulam Eri, immediately for the irrigation of agriculture activities with the help of the 3rd respondent by considering the petitioner's representation dated 11.05.2025. 2/5
2. The respondents have considered the petitioner's representation and passed an order dated 10.06.2025, wherein it is stated that the water level is below the silt level. Therefore, there is no possibility of releasing water. Since the petitioner's representation has already been considered, nothing survives for adjudication. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the order dated 10.06.2025 in the manner known to law.
